When time flies, and the mood is chilled, the natter mellow, and the personalities of the dogs a distraction …… it really is about the ‘now’.
It’s photos like this that bring me back to now. Recently, again I’ve struggled, really struggled. Each day a battle. Too much overthinking. Procrastinating. Ruminating. Overwhelming anxiety. A struggle to leave the house. Avoiding friends. Most definitely avoiding the masses. Spinning plates. Juggling balls.
You didn’t see it? Hidden eh!
Very much like the analogy of a duck ..… ‘appearing smooth and effortless above the surface, and yet paddling frantically underneath.’
I personally get lost in my ‘hurry up’ driver ….
I recognise so many of us are experiencing this. It is, and has been, a rather different time. Our wings of freedom clipped. Such change. So many topics one could discuss. So many avenues to project blame in which to vent perhaps.
I find time, space, the reflection of others through both personal and professional conversations, and a trust, a faith in me, to work through these difficult and somewhat overwhelming times. Perhaps sometimes, it’s a matter of trusting your instinct. We have all learnt so much, each and every day of our lives.
Have trust in yourself. Belief.
