Same board, different wave, different fin

It started with a walk, that became a litter pick, and then a surf followed by an impromptu photo shoot (more to follow)


Sometimes the need to simply leave the house, and embrace the great outdoors is simply uncontrollable, and so calming.


Getting my daily dose of Vitamin D, which is essential for a well functioning body. It helps us absorb Calcium, it prevents Osteoporosis, and it reduces inflammation, among other things (I’m not getting any younger!).


Studies show that being outdoors, and walking in nature, helps restore our focus, and could improve your short term memory.


It’s also that time of year, where shorter days and lower light levels can trigger Seasonal Affective Disorder, or SAD.


And then there’s your immune system. Scientists think that breathing in phytoncides (volatile organic compounds or ‘essential oils’ produced by plants and trees), increases levels of white blood cells, helping us fight off infections and diseases.
