17 years on!
26th December 2004 Asian Tsunami ......
My heart will always go out to my friends and adopted family in Sri Lanka. These events are what makes us into the people we are today. So many lives lost. So many lives changed. Together we got through it. And like today, and the pandemic, we will adapt and survive.
The people of Sri Lanka didn’t give up, nor did the people of other affected countries in the Indian Ocean.
To everyone who have been in my life, from then, and since, this disastrous time, my thoughts are with you on this day. We rebuilt together. I honour those lives lost on this day in 2004.
