Perspectives....
Looking up, not looking back.

I’m not always in the ocean, as often the trees or mountains are calling me. There’s a different energy with these different surroundings, and often the people you meet, have a different perspective on what makes them smile.
I’ve learnt not to push myself to surf, if I am truly not feeling it. Generally it’s the weekends when the crowds are greater, or if the waves are marginal, or I don’t want to drive for hours. Being true to self it’s priority.
I don’t do for social media, I do for me.
Making the most of each and every day, and recognising we can make choices.
Apologies, I’m wittering a tad. Just to say that I’m grateful for what I have, and what I have experienced through so many adventures around this amazing world. Today was simply heading out to a little piece of land I have, to distract myself. The bonus was to see the deer quietly leaving the woods, as the light disappeared from the day.
PS - It wasn’t easy for me today…… but I got out, and if I hadn’t, it would have been okay
